General FAQs

  • What is this project about?

    Madinah Quran School (MQS) is an effort to extend Dawa. The project is operated by the students of Islamic Studies from Madinah. The project is focused on extending the Qur'an learning to far and wide of the world.

    It is an online resource for learning the correct manner of recitation of the Magnificent Qurán as well as its commemoration. The goal is to be achieved through providing online education in the live session via the internet. Qualified mentors and experienced tutors coming from different cultures conduct these classes.

    The amenity is being run under uncompromised Sharai regulations that the well-versed Scholars supervise.

     

  • Whom the course design focuses on?

    Our programs courses are wisely designed for everyone, no matter what culture, language and background you belong from, or either you are an adult male or female, or a child.

     

  • What procedure should I follow to join a course?

    All that you need to do is to;

    Step 1:

    Open the Registration "Page", fill up the form with the required information and submit. Use a new form for each student if there are more than one. (Form requires the biodata of students, not the parents. Parent's contact detail, i.e. email/contact number, can be added, though).

    Step 2:

    On receiving the application, the institute organizes a trial session with the student. You are informed via email about the details of this session.

    Step 3:

    Once the trial session is held and you confirm to continue with the course, you receive the instructions about fulfilling the fee requirements. As soon as the institute is provided with the payment receipt, your admission stands confirmed.

    We suggest you go through our fee schedule before you apply.

  • Which portal are the online classes conducted through?

    The institute does not depend on low-grade resources. As for now, "Zoom" is the leading online resource for conduction online video sessions that the institute uses.

     

  • What preparation should be made before class starts?

    First of all, you need to have one of the following devices;

    • Computer
    • Laptop
    • A cellphone (Android Or IOS)
    • Tablet
    • Ipad

    Once you have any of the above, make sure to arrange the following resources as well;

    • A reliable Internet Connection with reasonable downloading speed.
    • Headphones with Microphone
    • Stationary for taking notes

    Now download the "Zoom" application, and you are all set to go.

    Relevant:

    • Our online system is strong enough to work with devices of average configuration and is compatible with all the major browsing engines. It is suggested to check your browser performance before starting your online class.
    • We recommend an internet connection with a minimum of 4MB downloading speed. Though our students are attending the classes even through a 1MB connection, that is working well. A high-speed connection ensures uninterruptable streaming, resulting in a positive learning aura and impacting both Tutor and student.
    • A new set of headphones and a mic is recommended to avoid any inconvenience.
    • A good student always takes notes of what he is being taught about. That helps re-consulting to the important things. Always keep a pencil or pen with a paper or notebook with you while attending class.

     

  • Does a class mean a one-on-one conclave? Time Duration?

    You got it right. We provide one on one sessions to concentrate on every student individually. The total duration of a class is about 30 minutes, out of which it takes 25 minutes for the lesson and the rest of the time for brainstorming.

     

  • How many days per week do I have to attend the class?

    That is upon your choice. We offer two types of per week plans;

    • 3 days a week
    • 6 days a week

    You can choose one of your convenience.

    • If you go for "3 Days a week" you may have to choose either "Saturday-Monday-Wednesday" or "Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday.
    • Six days a week plan works from Saturday to Thursday.

    Friday is an off day at the institute.

     

  • Will my Qur'an Tutor speak my language?

    The institute has picked experienced tutors belonging to various regions who speak languages from different origins. We assign the relevant Tutor relying upon your preferred language regional details as mentioned in the submission form. As a result, we are serving throughout the map.

     

  • Do the school have a Qualified Tutor having due Shahadah and Ijazah?

    Passing through our strict hiring process, only long-drawn people with due qualifications and certification can be part of our teaching faculty. Each of them possesses due Shahadah and Ijazah in this regard.

     

Fee & Payment FAQs

  • What is the discount programme for those who cannot afford it?

    We offer a family discount scheme for the time. You can contact our support for more information.

    We are unable to offer any individual discount at this stage that has a few reasons;

    • The project is being operated by the students of Islamic education from Madinah. The fee structure is drawn out at a minimum to meet the operational expenses, i.e. Staff payoffs, and other operational costs.
    • The institute is not ready to compromise the standard of education that calls for hiring highly paid mentors.
    • The institute offers a 20 per cent scholarship quota for converted Muslims to learn Islam without any hindrance.

    If you go through a few other online resources, you will know that our institute provides quality Islamic education at the lowest possible fee schedule.

     

  • What payment method is used for fee submission?

    You can choose from one of the following methods;

    • Paypal
    • Local bank transfer

    Being the most accepted payment method throughout the globe, Paypal helps most of our students to submit their fees without any inconvenience. You can choose between Paypal or Credit card/Debit card/Cash card for submitting the fee.

     

  • What if I am unable to use the online payment method?

    Kindly contact our support system to assist you with alternative options for the fee submission in that case.

     

  • What should I do if Paypal does not operate in my country?

    If the country you are located in is not one where Paypal operates, You need to contact our support staff to resolve this issue for you.

     

  • Is it mandatory to provide my Name/Email while making payments?

    Of course, your detail allows us to identify your payment. That avoids the hassle of asking directly. The student is supposed to prove its payment by submitting the screenshot/image of the payment receipt through email or the details during the payment process.

  • Where to launch the session from?

  • Can I seek technical assistance in case of any problem with my connection or my computer?

    Although we assist through the course for general technical tunings and settings to help students continue their education, there is no such facility available with the institute to help resolve your hardware/software or connectivity issues. It is the responsibility of students or parents to get the technical problems resolved for the smooth continuation of the learning process.

  • Why am I experiencing a distortion in voice or jerks in video reception?

    That normally happens because of two main reasons;

    • Bad internet connectivity
    • CPU usage at a higher level

    Diagnose the issue by implementing these steps and get the relevant technical assistance if required;

    • Have a look at your connection speed.
    • Stop all other downloading or updating processes.
    • Stop your antivirus program.
    • Stop all other operations that required internet.
    • Try switching between browsers, i.e. Google Chrome, Firefox etc.

     

  • What if my voice is not transmitting?

    In case your voice is not being heard on the other side, you can check the following things;

    Follow the below steps:

    • First of run your microphone audio input test. If not working, plug out the microphone and plugin again.
    • Make sure that the mute tab is not turned on.
    • Check the speakers setting the same way and try increasing the volume.
    • Switch between browsers if the issue is not resolved.
    • Use a different device and check if it works.

     

  • What if my voice does not transmit clearly?

    It may occasionally happen that your voice is not transferring clearly. Following the steps below may help in most cases.

    • Please have a look at the sound tab that exists on the right bottom of the computer window to confirm that it is not muted
    • Try plugging out your headphone and plugging in again. If it had a volume control, check if the volume is high enough.
    • While using a laptop, you can try switching between internal and external microphones in distorted transmission.
    • If you are using an external webcam, make sure that the microphone built in the webcam is disabled.

     

  • Why my session is not being opened?

    You can try opening your session on another device for checking if it works or not. Smartphones are supposed to work better than low category laptops.

     

  • In which cases, refreshing the page can help?

    If you experience any of the following issues, refreshing the browser page may help;

    • If the video is frozen.
    • Can not hear the voice of Tutor
    • There is a distorted or broken voice
    • You are asked to speak, and even on the access given, the Tutor can not hear you.
